Hey music friends! As some of you know our eldest is off to Taiwan and Catherine is going along for a couple weeks to settle her in.
I have been doing a lot of live sound work lately, not as much in the studio. But I'll be at home with the girls and can't really go out to work at venues while C is away, so... perfect time for a recording project! Yours!
Even if I can just schedule a few one-off sessions, that'll offset the income I'm missing while housebound. So I am offering a great deal for studio work, bc I miss it:
$120/4hrs or $150/6hrs.
Basically half the normal session rates, bulk rates nothwithstanding.
**Has to go down while my girls are in school (M-F, 9am -3pm).**
I just got the Steinway tuned on Monday and it sounds gorgeous, full of character. It's been literally years and I was bawling over it yesterday.
Main input chain is U87 Ai or AT4050 into Vintech, Daking, UA, FMR, Phase 3 preamps then 1176 or Daking FETiii compressors. RME ff800 into MBP M1 running current PT.
Also since C will be away and not working from home, I can use the house as a live room during the day. Heintzman in there and asymmetrical, vaulted ceiling. It's wired out to the studio for 16 channels. I have 1969 Ludwigs on hand...just sayin'...
Valid now until June 27 (house-as-live-room scenario June 16 - 27 only. All sessions weekdays 9 - 3 only).
