One of the challenges seems to be self-identify. We're all human beings: as Martin Luther King said, it's not about the color of the skin, but the content of our character. Yes, anywhere in the world people of dark skin complexion face discrimination as a natural reaction, as in India with its apartheid caste system. However, every society needs visionaries to inspire, train, motivate even the lowest-placed individual person to believe in our innate human potential despite our outward appearance. We must each prove ourself to a wicked world. Europe, Asia and the Americas develop because the focus is on individual enlightenment. Executing progress en masse without individual human development never worked. Apart from the fate of "black people", Africa as the motherland offers humanity incredible richness of culture, natural lifestyle, and sustainability customs. Africans cannot look to copy, and thus live for mimetic desire, the ways of other peoples. Look how the indigineous peoples of the Americas are tackling their self-image, self-identify, and self-development.
