Servant Leaders Becoming Network Leaders for Faith Communities in this Digital Age Sadly Off in all Organizational Directions Small faith-based communities and religious organizations may still shine with the ‘1000 points of light’ as G.H.W. Bush once idealized. But we see struggles mounting to fund, staff and sustain many old buildings and small-scale worship centres. The big ones work to establish their brand and develop their infrastructure but often suck precious resources from others, and are vulnerable to their own internal bureaucratic problems. Top Ten reasons for NetJustWorks Network Leaders for Faith and Justice A Personal Journey I love inspiring heroes but get bored with one-man shows. I am an enlightened man of reason enculturated in rugged individualism, but am deeply suspicious of autocratic leaders and media celebrities. In religion, business, politics I have known outstanding change-makers for the common good, but I also know that without family, friends, community and a network of support they would be but a ‘sounding gong or a clanging cymbal/symbol’.
