Episodes every other Sunday. You’re currently listening to... the Wrong Station.”

Wrong Station is a horror anthology series, taking its inspiration from classic 1940s radio horror broadcasts like Quiet, Please and Lights Out. From the moment the haunting piano theme fades out, each story is told to you, personally, by a narrator with somethin

g to hide, or something to confess. Wrong Station is created and produced by Alexander Saxton, Anthony Botelho, and Jacob Duarte Spiel.

!!!SINCERE POST INCOMING!!!

A week ago, we asked our Patreon subscribers what Wrong Station means to them. Why? Because we wanted to include some positive comments in a grant application. We did not expect the outpouring of love we received.

This post includes a few responses from over thirty we received.

When you make audio drama, you don’t often interact with fans in real-life. It’s easy to think the work doesn’t matter. It’s easy to get discouraged. It’s easy to forget that each download of an episode is an actual person taking actual time to engage with your art.

So, thank you to our Patrons (and all our listeners) for reminding us that what we do has meaning. And if you’re an artist reading this: consider asking your followers what your art means to them.

Good evening spider children 🕷️

For this month’s “Wrong Station Presents” we’re proud to present this alternate ending for the chilling “Eight Eyes,” written by Jacob Duarte Spiel.

As we’ve often said, there’s some great stuff that ends up on the cutting room floor sometimes.

While this wasn’t what rang the most true in the final edit of Eight Eyes, we believe it still explores some very interesting angles. It’s also very cathartic, and very messy.

Head over to Patreon to enjoy, sickos!

Best,

The Team

Exciting news! We're doing CROSSOVERS!

Shelby - our friend and host of the Scare You To Sleep podcast - just uploaded a retelling of the classic Wrong Station episode "When The Water Come Up" (episode 74).

We think her version is excellent, plus this is a cool opportunity to look at some old episodes through a new lens. How does the story change in her telling? Do different details stick out? Do some characters change?

We're genuinely curious, so go check it out and tell us what you think!

150 episodes. We started this project 9 years ago. We had no idea we'd end up becoming one of the longest running horror podcasts ever. I guess we're bigger sickos than we thought.

To our long-time fans: thank you so much for sticking with us all these years. Every day we get to wake up and craft something upsetting, disgusting, and horrible and know that there are people out there who can't wait to hear it. That's a special feeling. A strange one, but a special one.

To our new fans: you picked a great time to start listening to Wrong Station. We've got some amazing things coming down the pike to celebrate our 10th season in October. So finish listening to the back catalog, sign up for the Patreon, and get ready for us to [REDACTED] your organs!

Thank you for listening. Here's to another 150!
