24 Hour Festival Team Captain ✨🧡

Aaron is an actor based out of Toronto, his favourite pastimes are walking his dog Oliver, snuggling with his fiancé’s cat Daisy, watching wrestling, and watching wrestling with Oliver and Daisy (Aaron is secretly training them to be wrestlers when his fiancé isn’t home). Aaron is excited to be a captain for this year’s 24hr Festival as he’s been a participant for the last two Festivals, but has never had the opportunity to take the reigns and steer the chaotic ship that is the Festival, which should be a very fun time!

Lindsay is an Actor, Singer, and dancer with a love for fast-paced creation and fearless performance. Ready to collaborate, create, and see what magic can happen in 24 hours—likely powered by snacks and a questionable amount of caffeine. She is enchanted to be captaining a team this year because she has never met a mess she couldn’t handle (aka Libra vibes). 🧡✨ MEET YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN ✨🧡

Grant is looking forward to returning to the AIS pseudo-stage & captaining a talented group of actors through the treacherous waves of spontaneous theatre with minimal tears!

Hailing from Shawville, QC, Grant is a TFS Acting alumni and winner of the TFS Best Actor award in 2024. Since graduation, he’s been spending his time in the Ottawa Valley theatre scene starring in several shows with Ottawa Little Theatre and most recently Pontiac Community Players, in which he played Bernard in the french farce Boeing Boeing. In his personal life, Grant is an enjoyer of literature, music, and screaming. This is his 3rd appearance in the 24hr Fest and 2nd as a team lead.

24 HOUR FESTIVAL: CHAOS & MAGIC TICKETS ARE LIVE!

What happens when 25 actors have just 24 hours to create 5 original plays... with a twist? 👀

Throughout those 24 hours, they’ll face stipulations, challenges, prompts, and surprise activities that push their creativity to the limit, all inspired by the theme Chaos & Magic.

And then… you get to see the final result.

Audition Course
April 7th to May 12th
Tuesday nights 6:30pm-10:30pm
Explore the tools and approaches to best discover the fresh, personal choices which make an impression and book the role!
Through the breakdown and in-depth exploration of a different character each week, actors are given ample camera time to find their comfort and creative freedom in front of the lens.
Space is limited to 8 students to ensure maximum on-camera time.

24 Hour Festival
April 24 7pm - April 25th late
Actors are in teams of 3-5 and have exactly 24 hours to create/write/produce and star in a 15min long play! Seems easy right? There are challenges, stipulations, sabotages, and much more being thrown your way the whole time!! Imagine a cross between Cutthroat Kitchen and a long form sketch show... but more chaotic! It’s the most fun you’ll ever have I promise! This year’s theme is:

24 Hour Festival Team Captain:

Raidyn is so ready for the 24-hour theatre fest! Being a team captain will help him flex his leadership muscles. He loves improvising and procrastination. With this 24 hour deadline, both can be expected!

Raidyn began acting in high school with a memorable performance as “Sebastian” in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. He went on to study film acting at Toronto Film School, and he’s been in Toronto, working and auditioning, ever since! Raidyn just finished a small role in his first feature film “Borderline Funny”. He notes Jim Carrey as an early influence, as he watched many of the Canadian icons’ films growing up. Raidyn is excited to continue pursuing both theatre and film.
