Fifteen years ago, I raised my hand to cover one tech story. On September 9, I’ll be back at Apple HQ for their next announcement.
I was a young reporter in New York City, working at CNBC, when my editor asked, “Who wants to cover this tech story?” I raised my hand — and that one decision changed the course of my life.
👩🏻💻From there I continue to cover tech at CNBC and the LA Times, then took a leap and started TechSesh. In the early days it was just me, a camera, a blog and a genuine love for technology. Covering tech from a girls girl POV. 💁🏻♀️
Apple and I have come a long way since. I’ve covered so many launches over the years, and I never take these invitations for granted. Every time, I think back to that young reporter who simply raised her hand.
To everyone who’s stuck around, watched, and supported me along the way, thank you. You made this possible.
