Day four and the cobwebs are starting to fall off, and my hands are starting to cramp and I’ve met so many cool bassists.
If you’re new here - hi I’m Katey and I’m relearning the upright bass after a 10 year break. I want to bring more music into the world in spaces like public parks and subway stations (I’m from Vegas - let me romanticize it while I’m living in Toronto).
If you’re a bassist or you know one, send them my way, I’m trying to stay inspired and test if this is something the people want to see.
What would you do if you saw someone playing the bass on a street corner or in your local park with nowhere to tip? Would you sit and enjoy the music?
I better start calling this an experiment - or create a real plan 🤣
