“One year ago, we were creating her- today, she has officially been let out of the gate and is riding into your hearts. What a wild ride it has been. This time captured in the studio is such a blur- it was a time of deep grief as my brother Jay was in a coma and recording the songs he and I wrote together gave me something to focus on and pour all my emotions into. I was held in the embrace of my beautiful band as Steven Schram gently and kindly took the reins and guided the Neon Cowgirl to life.

Some celebrate release day with champagne and parties, but last night I sat next to my brother on his couch with our guitars, quietly coaxing these songs we wrote together from his fingers and his mouth as we played them together for the first time since his brain injury. The best possible way to celebrate this day ♥️

I hope the neon cowgirl brings you joy when you most need it and balm for your pain, as she did for me 🙏🏼⚡️Keep on.”
