“When Pain Meets the Qur’an… A Child Brings Light | Surah Ash-Shu’ara 78–80”

The hospital room is quiet.
Too quiet for children.

A small body lies on the bed… wrapped in bandages, wounded across the skin, carrying pain no child should ever feel.

But then the door opens softly.

Another child walks in.

No noise. No toys. No laughter. Only a mushaf in his hands and a heart filled with sincerity.

He sits beside his injured friend… and begins to recite the Qur’an with a trembling but beautiful voice:

“He is the One who created me… and He guides me. He is the One who feeds me and gives me drink. And when I fall ill… it is He who heals me.” — Surah Ash-Shu’ara (26:78–80)

In that fragile moment, something changes.

The room that once felt heavy with pain becomes filled with something deeper…
Faith. Mercy. Hope.

Because children understand something powerful that adults often forget:

True healing does not come from medicine alone. Healing comes from the One who created us.

And sometimes… Allah sends comfort through the pure voice of a child reciting His words.
