The first day we landed in Canada, we went straight to an AirBnB cos we hadn't gotten accommodation and had no family or friends to stay with.

After settling in, I asked our host how we will get drinking water. She looked at me like I had horns and pointed to the tap. Bewildered Nigerian me asked if the water was potable which she answered in the affirmative. I'm sure in her mind she'll say "Chai, these people that haven't seen civilization before". Anyways, we've been drinking our tap water without any issues. You can get chilled, ambient or hot water from the tap.

Hubby is usually so excited sometimes when he remembers that we don't need to put water in the refrigerator or freezer to get ice cold drinking water.

Its really the simple things...
