Finally Dining at PAI Northern Thai Kitchen 🇹🇭💫

Great Eats, Personable Service (Victoria and Ace were lovely!), and one of the most cool and beautiful dining spaces in Toronto.

I'll definitely be back to try all the other amazing dishes and drinks on the menu!

Final Rating: 9/10 👏🏽

First Christmas Party of the Season 🎄🎁🥳

Family, Music and Delicious Eats, the perfect holiday potluck celebration!

Beyond lucky to have a family full of foodies, so here's what the menu looked like:

Samosas, Batata Vadas, Sticky Pork Riblets, Veggie Grazing Platter, Roast Chicken with Potatoes, Pasta, Roast Beef with Potatoes, Sorpotel, Lime Pickle, Rice, Salad, Prawn Molho, Tendli Pickle, Mango Pudding with Fruit Cocktail, Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Créme Caramel, and ofcourse Drinks!

One of my Favourite Meals of 2025:
The Non-Veg Banana Leaf Meal 🤤🔥🌶

If you are looking for a delicious, memorable, affordable and satisfying meal, this post is for you!

For $24.99 CAD the loveliest servers come around with unlimited portions of South Indian Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Sukka, Chilli Chicken, Fish Fry, Raita, Papadum, Mutton Curry, Porotta, and Payasam for dessert. They also have a vegetarian meal for $16.99 CAD.

The food is fresh, spicy, flavourful and tastes homecooked.

The beautiful essence of the banana leaf, the relaxed atmosphere, and just enjoying a wholesome and delicious meal with your hands= my perfect dining experience.

Wash it down with a crisp can of Sprite, and it's meals like this that satisfy the stomach and soul.

Overall Rating: 9.7/10 ❤️

Homemade Pani Puri/Fuchka and Dahi Puri 🤤🫶🏼

Filling:
3 Cubed and Boiled Potatoes
1 can of Drained Chickpeas
1 cup of Boiled Mung Beans
1 chopped Red Onion
Handful of chopped corriander leaves
1 heaping tablespoon Pani Puri Masala

Sauces:
1. Pani Puri masala mixed in water
2. Tamarind and Date chutney
3. Plain Yoghurt mixed with a Teaspoon of Granulated Sugar

For Pani Puri/Fuchka crack the top of individual Semolina puffs, put in a teaspoon of filling, and top up with pani puri liquid and tamarind chutney. Enjoy in one whole bite.

For dahi puri, follow the same steps but finish off the filled shells with a generous tablespoon or more of sweetened yoghurt.

Optionally Garnish with sev, corriander and pomegranate seeds.

Instead of spending money on this easy peasy desi snack at a street food vendor or restaurant, make it at home and get a way larger portion for cheaper 🔥

Got our hands on some classic snacks from our childhood in the UAE 🇦🇪 from right here in Scarborough 🥳

1. Soft and perfectly baked Arz Khuboos
2. , the go-to chocolate bar at church events.
3. Gummi Pizza 🍕🍕🍕
4. Salad Chips, perhaps the one snack my siblings and I were the most excited to find. Iconic 🤤
