Hey friends, Machaira has a lot cooking with upcoming shows, and finally have the Life Is A Rock'N'Roll Circus album release coming in the fall.
With everything happening to me in this cancer journey it created a real slowdown. Our record was done, the Machaira full length Documentary feature was now completed by me, and I was taking on a scary new therapy of CAR T-cells at the beginning of this year. Well, the Creator has given me extra days on this planet to go create new music, new art, so many things are starting to get underway because I have had a turning point in my journey. I'm believing for my day where cancer is a thing of the past.
People often ask do you wish for a miracle ? I tell you I see and feel miracles on a regular basis. That's the living truth. These last 11 years getting stage IV non hodgkins lymphoma and a second disease, a rare form of Amyloidosis, it wreaked havoc.
But did Abba ever leave me, when I cried out for help, out of shear desperation, completely drench in pain, and thinking I'm totally done? Every time, in those awful moments, I felt the miracle of life! In the most unexpected times of agony and times when I was loosing hope. Yeshua met me every time... every time... every single time.
Recently the Blues Society of Redding held a fund raiser to help us out financially, since I couldn't work. Don Householder Scott P Ciucci Lori Lind Carl Anberg, and SO many others, made that day remarkable. I even got to play... That afternoon they raised $2500.00, but unbeknownst to me people went on to the GoFundMe, and by the end of the week another $1600.00 was raised. It shocked me... I was a bit wiped out that day and could only play a little bit. However, now my energy has more than doubled and I've started to come back to life. Rehearsals with Machaira are becoming ultra productive. For the first time in 8 months !!!
Expect great doors to open, even when you think you are walking to the "out" door. Thank you everyone for your prayers, thoughts, cheers, your help... when you reach out to me and inquire how im doing; it really encourages me!
