Been getting a bunch of messages and the big news is that the $100K match is CANCELLED ❌

It's an unfortunate situation, Nelson Yu I hope all ends up well with your family emergency, these things do happen! 😮‍💨

But of course, it's a shame that a lot of people's time, money, and effort was spent in anticipation for this match. I myself spent time doing BTS stream prep, took a day off work, made the drive to London a day before, got a hotel, reached the location extra early to set up the production. I know many others as well who took time off work just to be there (shout out Randy Ventresca). 😭

I do wanna fully clarify that no one should see David Doucette as bad action due to this incident. My bro showed up ready to play and tried until the very end to do what he can to make the show go on. This should not fall on his shoulders, he's an honest stand-up guy and I'm so grateful that he recognized my efforts and still covered my stream fees regardless of what happened. 🙏🏻 ❤️

I think we should all take this as a learning experience that stake deposits, escrow, and cancellation policies are required for these large action matches. In my opinion it's the proper way to hold everyone accountable and comfortable to keep the action rolling. I'm always ready to facilitate where I can.
