Sometimes the hardest part of networking isn’t walking into the room.

It’s getting yourself out of the house in the first place.

When you run a business, it’s so easy to get comfortable behind your computer. There’s always another email to answer, another post to create, another task to finish.

And some days, you simply don’t feel like putting yourself out there.

I get it.

But I’m reminded again and again that some of the best conversations, ideas, collaborations and opportunities happen when we show up in person.

You don’t have to attend everything.
You don’t have to work the room.
You don’t have to collect 20 business cards.

Sometimes you just need to get out from behind the screen, have a coffee, meet a few new people and reconnect with your community.

Because building a business is important — but building relationships is part of building that business too. ❤️

A huge thank you to Judith for welcoming us into Fine Floral Decor & Event today, and to the wonderful room full of women who showed up, shared, connected and made my day. ❤️

And the beautiful flowers we got to take home? 🌸 That was a pretty amazing bonus!

It’s been about 10 years since we’ve been to Andrews Farm Market & Winery Acres, so we decided it was time for a visit! 🫐🌸

We spent Saturday morning making the rounds — starting with blueberry pancakes from Troy’s Diner, catching the robot show, and then heading out to the blueberry fields to pick two baskets of fresh blueberries. 🫐

Next stop was the pick-your-own dahlias 🌸 (so beautiful!) and, of course, we had to say hello and feed the goats. 🐐

A simple, fun summer morning made even better because we got to spend it with Grandma. ❤️

Definitely won’t wait another 10 years to go back!

Spent the afternoon exploring Belfountain today, and it was the perfect way to enjoy the afternoon.

Popped into a few local shops, listened to some live music on The Belfountain Cafe ☕️ 🥐 ✨ patio, and finished it off with an amazing smash burger from the FAT CAT pop-up. 🍔

It was nice seeing my son, Aidan Hull , there helping out his friends at Fat Cat. 💪

If you haven’t been to Belfountain in a while, it’s definitely worth the drive!

I had such a great time meeting one-on-one with a client this to work on her Instagram.

These personalized sessions are always one of my favourite parts of what I do because every business is different, and we get to focus on exactly what will make the biggest impact.
