Till death—or a better mortgage rate—do us part. 😬🏠

Alex gets real about marriages where the love is gone, the loneliness is real, and the finances keep you under the same roof.

It’s easy to say “just leave.” It’s a lot harder when you can’t afford to.

Do you think more couples are staying together for financial reasons than they’re willing to admit? 👇

Gen X knew how to be bored. We stared out car windows, read shampoo bottles and waited an entire week for our favourite show to come back on.

So when our kids say, “I’m bored,” our midlife patience is like: How do you not know what to do with this? This is a life skill. Figure it out. 😂

Were Gen X kids simply better at being bored—or were our parents just better at ignoring us?

Maybe the second marriage comes with something the first one didn’t: experience. And a business plan. 😂

Alex says people often enter marriage #2 knowing exactly what they DON’T want, what they won’t tolerate again—and with a much clearer idea of how they want their finances and their relationship to work.

Less “love will figure it out.”
More “love… but also, where’s the prenup?” 😂

Is the second marriage actually the smarter marriage? 👀

Separate vacations when you’re married? Litsa and Krista didn’t even need a second to think about it: YES. 😂✈️

Because apparently the secret to a happy marriage in midlife is maintaining your female friendships, taking the girls’ trip… and occasionally remembering your spouse might enjoy seeing you too. 😂

Marriage is balance, ladies. A little romance, a little independence, and a girls’ trip booked somewhere in between. 🍹✈️

Would you take a vacation without your partner — or are separate trips a hard no?

Women make up more than half the population—but only 7% of Canadian health research focuses on women’s health. Let that sink in. 😳

For decades, medications and treatments were largely based on research conducted on men, while women were overlooked, brushed off or told their symptoms were “just part of getting older.”

But Dr. Sheila Wijayasinghe says she’s more hopeful now than at any other point in her 20 years of practising medicine. Women are finally being heard, better questions are being asked and real progress is happening.

There’s still a long way to go—but at least we’re no longer quietly accepting “that’s normal” as an answer.

Have you ever felt dismissed by a healthcare provider?

“You look good for your age.”

Oh, thank you. And you’re surprisingly brave for someone who just said that out loud. 😂

Nothing takes a compliment from 10 to go-f**k-yourself faster than adding “for your age.”

Women of midlife have spoken: retire the phrase. Immediately.

What’s the most backhanded “compliment” you’ve ever received? 👇

Lavender marriages are trending again—because apparently romance is optional, but cheaper rent and someone willing to climb a ladder are forever. 😂 Mike climbs, I cook… should we draw up the paperwork?

Would you ever consider a lavender marriage? 💜💍 #

Forget abs. Forget flowers. Litsa wants a man who says, “I’ll handle it”—and then actually handles it. 😂

Fix the car. Bring her dinner. Take out the garbage so she doesn’t get murdered in the back alley. And if you can’t do it yourself? KNOW A GUY.

At this stage of life, competence is foreplay. 🔥

What’s the most non-s*xual thing you find s*xy in a man? 👇

Your son gets his first serious girlfriend and suddenly you’re forced to confront two horrifying possibilities:

1. He’s becoming an adult.
2. He might be having s*x. 😳

Litsa: “I think they’re so cute together!”
Me: “OH MY GOD, DID THEY DO IT?!”
Krista: “Don’t introduce me. I don’t need stupid girls in my house.” 😂

Three moms. Three completely healthy and mature reactions.

Which mom are you? 👇

Midlife women aren’t losing interest in pleasure—we’re losing interest in putting everyone else’s needs ahead of our own. 👏

Dr. Jess explains why so many women in their 40s and beyond are moving away from a “pressure and please” mindset and becoming more comfortable with their bodies, speaking up for what they want and taking ownership of their own pleasure.

We’re learning to advocate for ourselves in the boardroom, within our families—and yes, in the bedroom too. 🔥

Have you found it easier to prioritize your own pleasure as you’ve gotten older?
