I married at seventeen, became a mother before I became an adult, and survived over thirty years of abuse, control, trauma, and survival. I raised ten children in the middle of chaos. I watched addiction tear through my family. I lived the heartbreak of CPS taking my kids. I fought for their lives, and I fought for myself. And then I lost two of my sons; one to overdose and one to accidental su***de; eight months apart. Grief didn’t break me. It initiated me. My work is not therapy. My work is remembrance. My work is resurrection. I carry the fire of disruption in one hand and the grounded calm of a matriarch in the other. THE 30 DAY VOICE NOTE CHALLENGE HAS KICKED OFF FOR THE 4TH YEAR!

ARE YOU IN???

I am sooooooooo excited! I absolutely LOVE doing this every year

If we get 500 people on board sending ONE message a day that's 500 people x 30 days = 15000 that is the potential to brighten 15000 people's days.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS!

ALL you have to do is leave 1 voice note for one person per day ( a different person each day) for 31 days in December.

It can be anyone on YOUR friend's list, your list of family members, I don't care who it is.

It doesn't have to be a long drawn out message, just a quick 15-30 second voice note letting that particular person know that you are grateful for them or you appreciate them or just tell them that they are awesome. Just a little message to brighten their day.

I have been doing this for years now and I send at least 3 voice notes a day to 3 different people letting them know how amazing they are or how much I appreciate their friendship or whatever pops into my head.

What if YOU could brighten up someone's day with just a simple voice note telling a person how much you appreciate them? How important they are to you? Or even that you were simply just thinking about them and wanted to let them know?
