Laughter is the best medicine and satire is a potent form of social commentary. My name is Karen Walton, and here at Inkling we Give A Damn about our right to make fun of real-world stuff that deserves a spit-take. inkEvents are casually bringing the screenwriters & hyphenates local and visiting together all summer long, grassroots level - thanks to Jaden, Ally, Brent, Christopher, Sherri, Adam, The Female Eye Film Fest, the staff at Glad Day and The Monarch Tavern, Montreal's lovely Parc Jarry and our allies at Paramount+ in Canada. We (the screenwriters) find and hold the spaces, volunteering inkies help you all tear down the barriers to our profession, one smile at a time.
