🚨🔊 cue the air horn 🔊🚨

The trailer for APPARITION is finally here.

After a long journey through writing, filming, and post production, the film is now complete and beginning its festival run.

Apparition is a short film set in Tokyo, where a struggling izakaya family prays for a miracle and it is the Virgin Mary who answers. What follows is a story about belief, culture, humor, and the ways we relate to the divine in everyday life.

This project has been with me for over a decade, and making it pushed me to confront my own creative blocks. That process ultimately led to the creation of a space dedicated to understanding and moving through creative resistance.

I’m currently submitting the film to festivals. If you know programmers, curators, or spaces where this film could resonate, feel free to share or reach out.

I’m also open to conversations and interviews around filmmaking, cross cultural storytelling, and creative block.
