South Sudanese Artist Jay Dynamic Attacked, Family Appeals for Urgent Support
The family of South Sudanese artist Chol Pandek, popularly known as Jay Dynamic, has appealed to the public for prayers and urgent support following his recent attack in Nimule.
According to the family, Jay Dynamic has been battling illness for nearly two years and was reportedly attacked by an unknown group in Nimule three to four days ago. His condition is said to have seriously deteriorated, leaving his family and friends deeply concerned about his wellbeing.
The family is calling on the South Sudanese music fraternity, community leaders, fans and well-wishers to check on the artist and help him access the care and support he urgently needs.
They have also appealed to the leadership of South Sudanese artists to intervene and stand with Jay Dynamic during this difficult period.
“Let us not wait until we lose our loved ones to show them love. If we can come together for food, water, soda and prayers after someone dies, we can also come together while they are still alive and fighting for their lives.”
The family is urging South Sudanese communities to look after one another, from the young to the elderly, and to speak out when someone is facing a serious situation.
