We are excited and honoured to again be hosting the brilliant & beautiful soul Stephen Jenkinson of Orphan Wisdom this weekend at Sunset Labs.
We'll be producing TWO profound livestream events this weekend with Stephen, which he has titled "The Fury of the Saints: Poetry and Trouble", and "A live encounter with the poet’s calling, with poetry’s moral, alchemical force."
Stephen Jenkinson will be joined each session by a working poet.
"What is poetry to a time flirting with madness? We won’t come to poetry as self-expression, nor as therapy, nor entertainment. We’ll test poetry’s fitness for the tempest, as a moral force, as an alchemical encounter with what troubles us most. These sessions are live encounters with a spirit amnesia in a poetically adrift time."

A fun day today using our tools to help entrepreneurs!
Today we're remotely producing a 3-day event for an amazing BC company - Mint CRO! Right now guest speaker Shiraz is sharing some advanced mindset work to support business owners to have real breakthroughs in their creative work.
With my PRODUCTION hat on, it's super fun to produce remote events - where we're using all our systems and tools to make the PARTICIPANT experience amazing, flowing and easeful. I suspect it's a bit like what a DJ must feel like - guiding the content, music, graphics and flow to help guests have the best possible experience. - which in THIS event is definitely working.. people are super engaged and our client has put together an AMAZING and well-organized event.
A funny thing... it takes all this gear to make this work... but it's ultimately about all this backend stuff being INVISIBLE in the guest experience.
We love our clients.. we love our work.

Yesterday we had the honour of hosting the 25th annual International Seaweed Symposium, during which Indigenous Nations from around the world came together to 'honour and acknowledge the rich history and connection Indigenous Peoples have had with seaweed for milenia'.
The event invites industry professionals, academics, students, and Indigenous Peoples from around the world to connect, learn and exchange knowledge about all forms of seaweed.
So, we're once again hosting a room full of global leaders doing deep work to connect, share resources, and preserve their Indigenous ways of life. EPIC. So grateful for the work we get to do, and what this little room gets to foster. ❤

We're off to a great start with today's big event! It sure feels good to have Sunset Labs used for sophisticated, meaningful & international projects like today's event - the International Society for Research on Psychedelics 2025 Conference!
24 renowned psychedelic speakers & researchers coming in remotely from across North America... and hosts and MCs here in the studio with us.
Tomorrow we're producing from Sunset Labs a full day virtual conference for the International Society for Research on Psychedelics (ISRP).
The virtual conference runs 8am-4pm, and features almost 2 dozen speakers bringing some fairly advanced content in the psychedelic realm with sessions like:
"Exploring the potential of psychedelics as a treatment for methamphetamine addiction"
"Psychedelic drugs induce the formation of new synapses in the cochlea"
