Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe spoke to the Business Community Network on Friday, March 13 at the Irish Hills Golf and Country Club, highlighting the city’s commitment to tackling key challenges while strengthening Ottawa’s future.
The Mayor emphasized the city’s focus on ending homelessness, improving public safety, strengthening primary care, and securing a better long-term deal for Ottawa’s light rail system to reinvest millions back into public transit.
He also highlighted efforts to expand community centres and multi-program spaces to support families, reduce pressure on existing facilities, and create more opportunities for residents across the city.
Mayor Sutcliffe noted that Ottawa is moving forward with a spirit of collaboration, with City Council working more constructively to deliver results for residents, businesses, and the broader community.
