Sometimes as a business owner it’s hard to fit in the things just for me. Sometimes it’s hard to make time to do the things that I love the most.

But this is a reminder for myself and for all of you: Make time to do the things you love with the people you love most.

Tonight this amazing group of women closed our softball season with a 15-0 W in the consolation game of our league’an playoff finals.

When I moved to the suburbs in 2017, my good friend from college insisted that I joined the team. This season marks my 8th season (would have been 9th without the pandemic), and I’ll tell you this: this team is one of the best groups and teams I’ve ever been a part of.

Our team isn’t just about softball. It’s about life…and we’ve been through A TON together. We come from all different towns, have kids of all different ages, and yet it just works. We respect one another. We’d do anything for one another. We truly adore one another.

The season always feels too short—but this one especially so. I love my Monday nights with this amazing crew (and those missing tonight.) I’ll be anxiously awaiting the start of the 2026 season when we’re back on the field together again.

Next year we’re fighting for that spot in the championship game. Congrats to our friends, The Mother Truckers, on your huge W tonight. You played the hardest and you certainly deserved it.

At this age and stage of life—these are the things that we’ve earned. Hit the pause button on work and make sure that you get out and do the things that you love, with the people who fill you up the most.

You won’t regret it. I promise.

: Some of you found through entrepreneurship, some of you found me through my advocacy. And regardless of why you’re here, it’s important that you know why I AM HERE.

I use my signature phrase, “tell your story,” all the time. So here’s mine…

When I’m not advocating for the Jewish community, I’m supporting women, and have made a career of doing so.

In 2010 (before IG even existed) I founded my first company, Bump Club and Beyond—a community for parents and parents-to-be. I bootstrapped my company from $0 to 7-figures for six years straight, reaching 3MM people per month, through simple marketing practices including events, partnerships, email marketing and eventually social media and PR.

In 2019 I sold my business to a large agency holding company.

After being completely corporately abused (a story for another time), I’d had enough and I exited in 2021.

When I left I did so with one mission: to help other women business owners build their businesses and find success.

So I started taking clients, and I launched . What started as a weekly podcast for female entrepreneurs, has quickly become a movement, bringing together women 40+ who are starting, building, growing and scaling their own businesses.

now supports you through our content, events, group mentorship, 1:1 calls with me, and our online community, The Forum.

Over the last 4 years nearly 1,000 of you have trusted me to help you with your businesses through my programs or by working with me 1:1—and I couldn’t be more proud of what’s unfolding in front of me.

You’re taking the reins, creating opportunities that fit your lifestyle…and you’re KILLING it. (Of course you are!)

My entire career has been dedicated to connecting women with one another.

Thank you for being here and for joining me for this incredibly insane but most rewarding and awesome ride. I cant wait to continue supporting you in any and every way possible.

Thank you—I couldn’t do any of it without each and every one of you.

Say hello to FoundHer, Amy Herzog, co-owner of North Shore College Consulting!

Amy is a former tax attorney turned independent college consultant and co-owner of ; providing comprehensive guidance to students from 9th grade through high school, helping them navigate the complex college preparation, selection, and application processes with personalized strategies for academic success and personal growth.

☀️ What’s your story?

As a mother of four, I find personal fulfillment in helping other families navigate the complex college admissions process. My own experiences as a parent informs my approach and drives me to support other families.

My continued motivation is rooted in my genuine desire to guide students through a critical phase of their lives, combining my professional expertise with a personal touch to help them achieve their college dreams.

☀️ How do you support other female founders and women in business?

Working with numerous teenage girls, I help them to recognize and address barriers that women face in leadership and entrepreneurship. I highlight the need to boost confidence in young women and teenagers who may be dismissive about their abilities and ambitions, and stress the importance of having more women in leadership roles to provide examples for younger generations, inspiring them to see leadership as a viable option.

☀️ How did you land your first client?

We started by offering our services for free to the high school children of friends and family members. This allowed us to gain practical experience, refine our consulting process, and develop our product offering. During the first two years we used these students as “guinea pigs” to perfect our methods and successfully helped these students gain admission to their desired colleges. News of their services spread organically through word of mouth. As a result of our proven track record and the positive buzz generated by satisfied students, we secured our first paying customers.

Say hello to Kelsey Garlock, foundher and creator of Movemama Apparel, a clothing and swimwear brand focused on helping nursing and pumping mothers feel a little more normal and confident in the early years.

What’s your story?

Kelsey Garlock is a mom of three girls. Her breastfeeding journeys were filled with challenges like low supply, tongue ties, and a lack of education and confidence. With the support of lactation consultants, she finally saw progress and had to work hard, often pumping around the clock and struggling with nursing in public. She found herself constantly un******ng, feeling cold and exposed, and frustrated with covers that didn’t work.

What does BEING a FoundHer mean to you?

Being a FoundHer means that my kids get to see me live out this passion as well. I truly created a product I believed in and that changed my own motherhood journey.

What are three strategies you use to market your business, grow brand awareness and generate bottom line growth?

1. Affiliates
2. Social media
3. Connecting with moms

Check out and get to know more of Kelsey’s story in our community on www.DearFoundHer.com!

Friends, meet FoundHer, Julia Zuroff, creator of Hineni Jewelry!

Hineni is more than jewelry—it’s a movement. Hineni (“here I am”) is a declaration of presence with intention, of showing up fully in the moments that matter. Worn as a daily reminder to oneself or gifted as a symbol of an unwavering bond, our pieces honor who we are and who we stand beside.

☀️ What’s your story?

It was only five months from meeting each other at a Columbia University Shabbat to summiting the tallest peak in Africa together. While similar interests, the gift of gab, and an equal obsession for conquering international feats made Brandy Mitnick and Julia Zuroff fast friends; it was their matched value system & core belief of showing up for the people you love, that bonded them as kindred spirits. They set out to create Hineni as a way to show up for their community, and here they are, launching their first collection.

☀️ What does being a FoundHer mean to you?

Being a FoundHer means building something that matters—creating a brand with purpose while fostering a community around presence and connection. It’s about showing up, supporting other women, and proving that meaningful businesses can thrive when rooted in authenticity and impact.

☀️ What was an obstacle you overcame to get your business where it is today? Please share the story behind it.

The jewelry industry is old and quite opaque. Without previous experience, it was very difficult to understand the moving parts, the process, and the costs. What I found most helpful was to have as many conversations as possible with people in the industry, potential suppliers, and even competitors. There is no written guidebook that explains any of it, but through many conversations the information began to coalesce around general best practices and gave me confidence going into future negotiations.

This was one of my very first events with my first company, Bump Club and Beyond.

A packed room, no paid ads, no fancy budget, NO SOCIAL MEDIA (it was 2010!) This event came about as a partnership with a local business and a clear purpose: build community and deliver value.

That one event?
It kickstarted the business I went on to grow, scale, and sell.

And at the foundation of it all was a strategy I used for an entire decade to build that first business to reach 3MM people per month, generating 7-figures in revenue per year.

It’s also the same strategy I use today right here and with all of my marketing consulting clients.

It’s not paid ads, or a fancy funnel, or even an Instagram strategy. It’s even simpler than all of that.

The strategy I’ve built both of my businesses upon and that of many of my clients: PARTNERSHIPS.

Now I want to help you do the same.

I hope that you’ll join me next Thursday.

That when your group mentorship peeps reach out with notes like these.

Nothing fills me up like seeing the women in Marketing Made Simple for Small Business grow and thrive because they’re implementing simple, easy to execute strategies that they learned during their time with me.

This isn’t a one off—-I get these messages all the time. Why? Simply it…because it works.

No one can guarantee you a certain amount of money to your bottom line.

No one can guarantee you specific growth numbers.

If they try to convince you otherwise—run. Promises like this can’t be kept.

But when you put in the work to build the foundation of your marketing efforts, build upon them and stay consistent…you get results like this.

Orientation for one of only two 2025 Marketing Made Simple cohorts is on MONDAY. Comment SPRINGMMS for more info and to join the incredible group who’s already inside.

I hope to see you there,
