World Cerebral Palsy Day💚
I don’t think I’ll ever fully grasp the kindness of God in allowing disability to be part of my life.
Don’t get me wrong, disability is a daily reminder that all is not as it should be in this world. But still, through it, I’ve come to understand the holiness of God in ways I never could have otherwise.
When I was diagnosed at age two, though I can’t remember the moment, I can only imagine the sense of fear and uncertainty those who loved me must have felt. What the world so often sees as a setback or a tragedy has become one of the greatest blessings in my life. Why? Because it led me to the cross.
Friend, Jesus makes all things new. He created me on purpose and for such a time as this!!
We’re only just getting started. And I’m full of expectation for how God will continue to use this thorn for His glory.❤️‍🔥
He is so, so good.

I will never get over the fact that I got to spend three weeks in a place where people with disabilities were not an afterthought—a place where a table was prepared for everyone to come and feast. A place where we could walk in the goodness of God while also acknowledging that all is not well. These people, this place… what a gift. Our God is so kind to create sacred spaces like this, where every single person has a seat. And oh, how I long for the day when all of God’s children will be gathered at the ultimate wedding banquet.🤍 .camp thank you🫶🏼

5 Things I Would Tell My Younger Self...
Oh, how I wish I could give “little Renee” a hug and tell her that her best days are ahead of her. How I long to tell her that a friendship with Jesus will change everything, that she can fully embrace the daughter she is, because she is made in the Imago Dei.
If only she knew she didn’t have to pretend to have it all figured out. That she didn’t have to carry the identity of “the girl in the wheelchair.” Oh, how she has always been so much more—all the days of her life.
You can come out of hiding, friend.
You can step fully into your God-given identity today. No one has it all figured out. And praise God, because this world is ultimately not our home.🖤

Still not over the fact that she’s a WIFE!👰🏻
Honestly, I could’ve never dreamed up a more perfect man for my bestie girl. It feels like just yesterday we were skipping class to window shop at the mall.
Liv has always been that friend who feels like home. The one who made life lighter, louder, and so much more fun. She was the first person who made sure nothing ever stopped me from experiencing the world.
Liv, thank you for always being my sunshine.🔆🤍

The words not yet hold so much power—especially when we’re speaking them with faith and expectancy, believing God will do exceedingly and abundantly more (Ephesians 3:20).

Lately, I’ve felt so convicted by how easily I box God in... assuming that if it’s always been this way, it’ll always stay this way. But friend, that’s just not true.

Our God is so much bigger. He’s moving behind the scenes, working out a plan far greater than anything you or I could ever dream up.

Hold onto hope. He’s not done yet.
