Help me save this plant from my cats.
I got this beautiful succulent as a gift, but I have 3 cats who always try to eat any flowers or plants (I even hide bouquets in the bathroom). So my solution was to enclose the succulent so they can’t eat it as it will not survive outside in my climate. I was reading how humidity isn’t good for succulents and the glass definitely mists up after a few hours (I don’t know much about succulents but it seemed overwatered when I got it). Will it be okay if I remove the glass cover and wipe out the excess moister frequently? Hopefully this time next year I’ll be in a house rather than an apartment and I’ll have a place to put this beauty where it is safe, so I just need to try to keep it inside until spring. Any advice on how to do that would be greatly appreciated!

I haven’t watered this fella in nearly two years
I’ve not watered this guy in nearly two years now and it’s still going strong. I’m not really very clued up on succulents and how to take care of them properly, do you need to remove the dead brown ‘leaves’ for them to grow properly? I’m worried if I do that the seal it’s made itself over the bottle will break and it won’t be self sufficient anymore.
I took the initial baby succulent stem from a bigger pot that I already had in my house.

Speaking of the bottle I filled it with regular compost and put a tiny bit of moss from my garden in with it and it’s just gone wild.

Overall though what do you all think of this, how long do you reckon it’ll last?

Plastic decorative plant is actually alive?! WDID?
Hello. My son got this little guy at Lowe’s when he was three, and it turns out it’s an actual plant. He’s now 8, so for the last five years I’ve kept the little thing alive (by infrequently watering it just in case it was alive- I honestly could not tell if it waaaasss) and now I’m feeling all sentimental like “oh, what if I get to give this to his future partner when they get married?” and I have guilt.

What is it? What do I do with it? How do I care for it? Do I break off the little guys popping up? Is it getting too big for that pot? Should I just crack it open to transplant if need be?

People keep stealing my plants. The Lorax is pi**ed.

They don't just take a leaf or a cutting, they're ripping up and stealing entire plants. They're not even rare or uncommon, you can buy them at Home Depot down the street, but they were in my planter for over a year!

What should not be in here together? My husband likes to buy too many and it ends up like this. It’s looks pretty but I know it has to be too much. It’s in layers of rock and sandy well drained soil. I’m about to bring her outside and want her at her best this year. TN for reference
