“The deeper the emotion, the bigger the life lesson.”

This part of the conversation took us somewhere real.
Grief doesn’t just teach us about loss—it teaches us about boundaries, courage, and legacy.

When I lost my dad during a divorce, everything in me shifted.
I realized I didn’t want my legacy to be long hours and burnout.
I wanted it to be love. Presence. Purpose.

And grief gave me the strength to stop tolerating what no longer aligned.

📍If you’re in a hard season right now—don’t do it alone.
Ride the wave with support.
Let someone hold space for you.
Because the wave will come either way—and you deserve to be carried through it, not drowned by it.

DARE: Stop hiding at work.

What’s one tiny thing you can do this week to feel more like you—even in your workspace?

It could be the way you dress.
The way you speak up.
Or simply the reminder you leave on your screen to stay true to yourself.

Brittany Rogars dropped this challenge on the latest episode of Today's Balanced Leader Podcast—and we’re passing it to you.

Because authenticity isn’t a liability. It’s your leadership advantage.

💫 Ready to lead boldly, break the mold, and stop hiding?
Tell us below: What’s your “one tiny thing” this month?

27/06/2025

Ever hear that whisper?
“You’re not good enough for this.”
“They’re looking for X, Y, Z—and you’re only A, B, C.”

Yeah… that one. The one that sneaks in right before you raise your hand… hit publish… apply for the opportunity… or step into the room.

Here’s the truth: Even the most successful leaders, entrepreneurs, and game changers I know hear it.
The difference?
They’ve learned to talk louder than the doubt.

That’s what Brittany Rogar and I unpacked in this week’s episode of Today’s Balanced Leader.
She built a six-figure business.
She leads with bold authenticity.
And the whisper?
Still shows up.

But now, she’s armed with evidence—the relationships, the impact, the booming business—
And simple daily practices to remind herself:

You don’t have to be for everyone. But you do have to show up for yourself.

✨ If that whisper’s been following you lately…
Here’s your reminder: You’ve been through worse. You’ve overcome more. The only thing left is to bet on yourself.

What’s one bold move you’ve been holding back from because of that voice?
Drop it below—and let’s talk about leading louder than your fear.

Real talk: Trying to be what everyone else wants? It’ll drain your soul. Brittany Rogars' business exploded the moment she stopped people-pleasing and started showing up completely unedited.

What if the real power move wasn’t the next big push… but the pause you keep postponing?

You keep telling yourself:
“I’ll rest when the launch is over.”
“I’ll take a breath after the next fire’s out.”
“I’ll reflect when there’s space.”

But space doesn’t create itself.
You do.

Leadership isn’t just about action. It’s about integration.
If you never slow down to ask why, you’ll keep chasing results that don’t even belong to you anymore.

Here’s your midyear invitation:
Pause.
Reflect.
Realign.
Not next week. Not when it’s convenient. Now.

Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re not trying hard enough.

Most of the time, we’re just chasing goals that are too abstract to take real action on.
"Grow my business."
"Be more present."
"Feel more balanced."

Those are beautiful visions—but they’re not action steps.

If you’ve been doing all the things and still not getting closer to what you want, maybe it’s time to get more specific.

28/05/2025

You show up for everyone.
The team. The family. The inbox.
Even when your jaw aches from holding it all together.

But who shows up for you?

Yesterday, I led a Clarity & Calm workshop that cracked something open for so many high-achieving women.

Not with more mindset work.
But with presence.
With tools for the real moments—when your body’s in fight mode, your breath is shallow, your brain’s spinning, and you still have to lead the meeting or make dinner.

We didn’t just talk about stress.
We met it in the body.
And we moved it.

And now, we go deeper.

Summer Soul Reset is a 6-week journey where we stop performing perfection…
And start living in a way that actually feels like us.

We’re trading “I’m fine” for “I’m free.”
And yes—your peace matters too.

DM me for details.
Because your impact doesn’t have to cost you your presence.

“What if it doesn’t work?”

That's actually the wrong question.

Ask yourself:
What if it does work?
What if this is the thing that changes everything?

That fear you’re feeling? That flutter in your chest, the overthinking, the resistance—that’s not a red flag.
That’s your nervous system brushing up against your expansion.

🌀 If you’ve been circling the same decision…
Waiting for a sign…
Watching other women move forward while you’re stuck in your head…

This is your sign.

✨ The thing that scares you a little and excites you a lot?
That’s the thing you’re meant to do.

So—what are you waiting for?

If this hit home, drop a “READY” in the comments or DM me and let’s talk about your next move.

21/05/2025

What happens when your life feels like a rollercoaster with no brakes?

You keep riding.
Keep climbing.
Keep crashing.
And still, you strap in for another round.

This is what fight-or-flight feels like.
And no matter how “together” you look on the outside, on the inside—you’re running on fumes.

This clip isn’t just a metaphor.
It’s a wake-up call.

Because you don’t need another strategy.
You need safety.
You need to build breaks into your system—body, mind, and leadership.

📍Watch the clip.
📍Breathe.
📍And let this be the moment you step off the ride.

Want to Create Lasting Cultural Change? Start with Intention.

Organizational culture doesn’t change because of mission statements. It doesn’t shift because of a new policy or a fancy team-building event.

Real, lasting cultural change happens when leaders lead with intention.

🔍 But here’s the problem: Too often, we let culture “just happen.” We get busy with the daily grind, and before we know it, the culture is shaped by default rather than by design.

If you’re a leader who wants to be a catalyst for real change, start here:
✨ 1. Lead with Clarity: Know your values. Know what you stand for. And make sure your team knows it too.
✨ 2. Embody What You Expect: It’s not enough to talk about integrity, transparency, or accountability—live them. Your actions are the strongest message your team will ever receive.
✨ 3. Be Consistent: Culture isn’t built in a day. It’s the result of daily, intentional choices—how you speak, how you listen, and how you show up.
✨ 4. Create a Space for Honest Dialogue: Great cultures aren’t perfect—they’re authentic. Make it safe for your team to speak up, challenge the status quo, and bring new ideas to the table.
When you choose to lead with intention, you stop reacting—and start creating. That’s how you become a catalyst for real, lasting change.

🎧 Want to dive deeper? Listen to my latest episode of Today's Balanced Leader, where I sit with Melissa & Kevin Thallemer, from Leadership Reinvented, LLC, and we break down how you can lead with intention, shift outdated patterns, and create a culture that thrives.
