This weekend I took the stage at a One Woman Fearless Event in Calgary! It was remarkable. ✨ Not only was I able to share confidence, connection, and social media tips with the audience, but I was also able to connect with so many powerful women.

Listening to the other speakers share their stories was truly inspiring, and connecting with the other ladies in the audience who are building their version of success was exciting. I shared many conversations about how social media can expand their business, the blocks we have when it comes to showing up online, and how sometimes we just need someone to hold us accountable.☺️

What an amazing weekend in Calgary, and I cannot wait to do more of these events. See you in Edmonton in the fall 🍁

It all started with a speech in Grade 4… about firefighters. 🔥

Our class was doing public speaking presentations for the first time, and we had to pick a topic, write our speech, and memorize it or at least use cue cards.

At the time, we had just moved into a brand new house, and I was having recurring nightmares about it catching fire (thanks to an episode of Cold Case I probably shouldn’t have watched with my parents 😅). So, firefighting became my topic. I went to the firehouse to interview the firefighters and hit up the library. The internet wasn’t really a thing then. I practiced that speech over and over again until I could recite it in my sleep. Parts of it I still remember...

When it came time to vote, my classmates and teachers chose me to represent our school at the city-wide competition. I still remember the butterflies, the unfamiliar faces in the crowd, my hands trembling just slightly… but more than anything, I remember how right it felt.

That moment lit a spark. And I’ve been speaking ever since.✨

Fast forward 19 years, and I’ve spoken in classrooms, boardrooms, conferences, and on stages big and small. I love making people laugh, think, and feel. I love turning everyday moments into messages that stick. And I love watching a room light up when the right words land at the right time.

Do I still get nervous sometimes? 🥲YUP

But that just reminds me I care and I never let it stop me from showing up fully.

One of the hardest and most liberating decision decisions I’ve ever made in business.

Well, I don’t often share financial insights, I think it’s a very important and pertinent part of business. Truly, it’s what makes her breaks a company.

Here’s a little insight to one of the biggest financial and mental decisions I’ve made in my business, and how that trickled out.

It’s important to note that my decision isn’t right for everyone. But it was the right decision for me.

If you were feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the same spot, or just a disconnected from your business, you may need some help.

Setting yourself up with systems to scale is what is actually gonna move your business forward.

You can be in all the energetic spaces that you want, but if your business can’t hold multiple clients, you will never hit those big financial and impactful dreams

As Black Friday gets closer I wanted to share a little something around SELLING!

The coaching industry is AMAZING. Many of my clients and friends are coaches… heck in some cases I consider myself a coach.

there are many people doing amazing work in the industry… However, sometimes they can be hard to find through all of the other noise and sales tactics.

The truth is, the work that changes you is often unsexy. It’s the small daily decisions - the choosing to show up, face yourself, make the change that creates success. It’s the work you don’t share all over social media because it’s deep, personal and transformational.

While the industry and world may celebrate your “after” it’s in the messy middle where the magic really happens. Where the coaching really happens.

Oh my gosh… 4 years in business!✨🔥

I usually have a lot of words, but today… I honestly don’t know what to say. Thank you all so much for continuing to believe in me, and supporting my business. It truly means the world that I’m able to wake up every day and do what I love. 💕
