This account is essentially a dead account I won't be using anymore and haven't been using for a while.
I've moved, changed my life and goals & to be perfectly honest with everyone: Days of Glory Canada was something I had started when I was going thru mental health issues and homelessness. I rebuilt my life while also custom building a 2001 Mustang I'ma gravel driveway. With my family, friends doubting my abilities and passion. I built the custom car infront of them thru great strides then proceeded to go on tour. I got to talk about what it's like to have mental health issues along with no supportive environment around you, what is still possible with hard work and perseverance. Mental health disability & depression can also be powerful motivations to focus on a goal and see it thru.
I toured Canada 5x within just over 1 year. Doing public speaking events, educational ecigarette display pop ups, multi-store drop ins across Canada supporting ecigarette business development, interacting with the community sharing some very special times.
But this brings me to nearing the end..
I was to be married to an amazing person, my fiance Brie. We had dogs together and I even brought her + my husky Nova on 1 of the final tours. It was made impacts in a positive manner that I could not have accomplished alone, like on previous tours. The spark we had as a family.
Brie had troublesome physical disabilities and couldn't work anymore. So I worked full-time for the family, supporting us.
In 2022 she had some serious issues with her health, so I drove her from Ontario to BC with plans of working for the winter while she recovered + saw doctors in BC Canada.
While I was working & living in Banff, Ab it was only a few months later in the year 2023 she left me because she didn't want to be a burden on me. Her health had been getting worse with constant medical care needed. Government support was helping her and she felt it was best to walk away.
I was angry, hurt and most of all confused.
We haven't spoken since then. It was a complete break in communication.
From then on I tried to keep going focused.on my passions with ecigarette advocacy and education. But this could only go on for a few yrs before I finally came to grips with the fact the whole thing should be closed and archived. It holds great memories but also alot of hurting feelings leftover in my heart. A reminder what it used to be and the amazing people I loved very much, that I lost.
I have attempted moving on while still advocating for ecigarettes and helping community members. I have been putting my passion and dedication into drumming again, after a 10yr hiatus from being a session and touring drumming. I am also working with a small company co-running a factory making artisan bread in a mass production setting.
Fun stuff.
But lastly I have started a business where I have dubbed the brand name Vigilant1.
This will have a few businesses under its belt: Vigilant1 Warehouse is a place for retailing products, Vigilant1Services a mobile windshield repair & automotive diagnostics business, Vigilant1 Productions which I'm hoping to be building a jam space & recording studio. Currently building my gear in prep.
As for ecigarettes...I still use them, but I have pulled away from my social media activity. I interact with some amazing people still within the V world. I'm not able to walk away from my passion with va**ng, but I have found myself being a good community helper with struggling V users. I'll likely never sell my gear..or the juices or the hardware & ingredients for building DIY.
I'm hoping to have some more time & ability to come back to social media, now that I have moved & I am getting settled in. This would include more interacting within the V groups again
But I think DoGCanada is gonna have to be put to bed.
I still hold a lot of heartbreak over losing my family. So it's best to not be reminded or hold onto it any longer.
All the best & Thanks for the friendships
