Community 🎓 Manitoba Hydro Awards, Scholarships & Bursaries
Manitoba Hydro supports students across Manitoba in their pursuit of academic excellence. Through our Educational Funding Program, we offer a variety of awards, scholarships, and bursaries to students enrolled in programs that align with our operational needs. We are currently accepting applications, please feel free to share the information below with students and your networks.
Funding ranges from $500 to $2,500 and includes opportunities for:

- Students only need to complete one application, even if applying for multiple awards.
- The application is mobile-friendly and can be completed on a desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
- A formal cover letter is no longer required.
- Paper copies are available upon request—please contact me directly.
Application requirements:
- A current resume
- A copy of the final transcript from the last term
(Grade 12 transcript for first-year post-secondary students)
- Proof of Indigenous ancestry (if applicable)
(e.g., Status, Métis, or Nunavut Certificate Card – other forms may be accepted)
To be eligible, students must:
- Be enrolled full-time (minimum of 9 credit hours or 3 courses per term)
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Meet all criteria listed in the description of each award, scholarship, or bursary

Why this matters:
