Aaron had always been a creative guy, coming up with original ideas and envisioning films that he would one day make. I sit down to talk with my friend and colleague about how he got started working in film and how he learned through trial and error to make his visions come to life on the big screen. Aaron and I recently worked together on a short film called The Orbs that is in submission in the My Rode Reel film competition. Check out the links below to watch and vote!

The Light Up The Night event is to raise awareness about the plight of all event industry professionals in Arts and Culture.

The live event industry was the first to be shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic and we will be the last to return to work. On September 22nd we light up red to show a visual representation of how many Film, Live Event, Arts, and Culture workers will likely remain unemployed until the end of the pandemic.

To show my support I drove around Edmonton taking photos of some of the places that were participating in the event. I also spoke with Christian Zeretzke who organized the event here in Alberta about the event and how the pandemic has affected his work in the live event industry.
