After 256 shows and nearly six years, it’s time to bring The Friday Drive to a close.
To the many collaborators who helped shape this adventure — Sonia Patenaude, John Edwards, Mike McDevitt, Ed Humphrey, Michel Rathier, Robert MacPherson, Maureen Dillon Teasdale, Tony Mason, Shelley Mizener and the awesome team at CIDI, Bob Halsall, Marc Bryson, Christine Blanchette, Shanna Pauline Bernier, Rachel Garber, Marie Moliner, the students from Bishop’s, Champlain College, Alexander Galt Regional High School, Richmond Regional High School, and so many others — thank you for your talent, your generosity, and your friendship. Every one of you left a mark on this show.
And to the listeners: your support made every broadcast worth it. Sharing your Friday afternoons has been an honour.

🌙 Evening: Head to The Piggery Theatre, North Hatley, at 8 p.m. Hosted by Daniel Coulombe, the night will celebrate the evolution of radio in the Townships. Share memories, ask questions, and hear from radio legends like Bob Halsall, Ted Silver, Isaac Shane, Paul Desormeau, Frank Cavalarro, Bob Nag, Scott Coates, Marty Lamarre, Bianca Batistini, David Teasdale and many more!
