This magnificent mountain is so beautiful and magical! When you get to see it, it leaves you without words.

This morning we were so lucky, not only did we see a swan 🦢, couples getting married but also inverted clouds that would leave us speechless! 🙊

-Hiroshima!

We wandered Miyajima (this small island south of the famous city that first received the A bomb), searching for quiet.
Far from the crowds, chasing a moment of stillness—and a place to launch the drone.
But before we found the clearing, we found them.
Like spirits in the sakura mist, the deer appeared—calm, watching, part of the island itself.
In the shadow of Hiroshima, this place offered something we didn’t expect:
not just a new perspective from above,
but a reminder that magic often finds you when you’re looking for something else.

Japan has so much to offer! 🇯🇵

Where to start?

-Cherry blossoms 🌸! Clearly La Vie en Rose! 🌸
They were so impressive to see in person! 😍 The white, pink and red flowers in so many trees were mesmerizing wherever they. A must see at least once in your life 👀

While the guys .langevin and were shooting me for some portraits 📸 I noticed a heart shaped clumps of cherry blossoms 🌸 I had to stop and at least capture it! 🫣 It made me think of my love always supporting me and my crazy ideas like going to Japan almost every year and starting a big project there!

Where to start?

Well... With US! 😎
Nous sommes partis en équipe pour le projet ShutteRonin au Japon! .langevin et moi-même avions pour mission de parcourir ce magnifique pays pendant la saison magique des cerisiers en fleurs, dans le but de capturer du contenu inoubliable.

Et franchement, nous avons été gâtés de tous les côtés : des rencontres touchantes avec les locaux, des paysages à couper le souffle, une météo parfaite… et surtout, les sakura étaient au rendez-vous pour nous en mettre plein les yeux! 🌸

L’un des moments les plus attendus? Cette ville incroyable dans la région de Nara, nichée sur un flanc de montagne, où près de 30 000 cerisiers transforment le paysage en nuage rose. Un rêve devenu réalité.

Grateful for this adventure, this team, and this country that keeps on inspiring. 🇯🇵✨🌸

Japan really comes alive at night. It is crazy to see how everything and everyone changes as the day comes to an end.

Title: Lost in the concrete sea of Tokyo.

Embracing the electric nights of Tokyo, where the cityscape comes alive with neon hues, a sea of people, and the pulse of urban energy. This picture embraces it all 🌃✨

Push yourself to try something new and learn something different! For me it was to try using a slow shutter speed to create something I had in mind since my last time in Japan in 2022 with .langevin and
My initial idea did not work how I wanted but and I managed to create something even better than I thought!

In all my trips to Japan, Osaka has been the city I spent the most time in followed close by Kyoto.
This iconic tower has a special place in my heart and I wanted to create something new and different than my usual shot (shown in my last post!).

Osaka must see at night:

1-3: Shinsekai. (Meaning new world) is a food and entertainment district developed in the early 19th century. It is personally my favourite spot to explore at night as it is not too crowded, the lights are amazing and the food is great (especially the kushikatsu)!

4-6: Dotonbori.The well known, lively and well lit entertainment area is Osaka’s most famous tourist destination. It is well known for the running man and the enormous variety of restaurants and bars! The history of Dotonburi goes back to 1612 and named after Yasui Doton a famous merchant who invested all his personal money in developing the area!

7-8: Teamlab Botanical Garden.
A great way to experience teamlab in an outdoor setting! The lights exhibitions were truly mesmerizing.

9-10: Umeda sky building. A business building known for its great observatory on the 39th floor. It offers a breathtaking view over the city! My favourite is definitely the escalator between the observation deck and the floor under.

There is so much more to do in Osaka but if you are visiting for the first time and you have limited days in Osaka I definitely suggest these night excursions! Don’t hesitate to comment or ask me questions ☺️ It’ll be my pleasure to help you plan your next visit to Osaka!
