Last month, CUPE Saskatchewan previewed our new documentary in Saskatoon to an audience of convention delegates. Now that it's completed, we want to share it with you at home!

This 20 minute film dives into Saskatchewan's rich public service history, beginning with its humble roots. It then explores the Sask. Party’s not-so-secret plan to sell off, cut, and privatize our public services – a plan that began with Brad Wall in 2007.

But there’s hope. In talking with people from all over the province, one thing became clear: we fight for what we love. And Saskatchewan people love public health care, education, infrastructure, transportation, libraries, and so much more.

Super proud and humbled to be working on Avi Lewis's campaign for West Van - Sunshine Coast - Sea to Sky Country. Lots of incredibly talented people working and volunteering for Avi, all brought together by the urgency of the moment we inhabit.

Avi is the real deal. A deep thinker with keen insight into the overlapping crises we face, empathetic and generous, and a great communicator who just cuts through the bu****it. Hopefully this is only the very beginning of his political career.

The Aspen Foundation for Labour Education hired us to create an animation to help teach 5th graders about the basics of social justice. We felt the ecosystem of a garden full of insects and plants was a great way into the subject matter. We all win when there's balance and fairness in our communities and when each gets what they need in order to thrive.

We made this video in less than a week for CUPE Saskatchewan. Leveraging our eye's familiarity with zoom-style square mosaics to deliver something a little different. Hopefully it pops in people's feeds!

Employee benefits (and pensions!) are one of the main reasons we fight alongside labour in so many of our campaigns. Explaining the value of a new benefits plan to members was the main challenge in this video. Here we go on a journey visually and narratively, meshing abstract visuals with a warm colour palette.

Labour rights in Alberta are under attack, and Jason Kenney is using the Republican playbook to make it harder for workers to unionize, bargain collectively, and speak to the public through campaigning.

We whipped up this animation in less than two weeks, and though our animator lost several night of sleep to a frantic schedule, it turned out pretty well we think!
