MEET THE ENGINEER:
Alex Shellington

Alex Shellington is an audio engineer based out of Octane Studios in Guelph, where he works closely with artists to capture authentic performances and craft clean, professional mixes. A graduate of the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology program, Alex specializes in recording, editing, and mixing, and brings a strong musical background to every session. As the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for Tortugal Sacrifice, he understands the creative process from the artist’s perspective and strives to make every session comfortable, collaborative, and productive.

MEET THE ENGINEER:
Kyle Wilson

Born into a musical family, Kyle Wilson brings both passion and technical expertise to the studio. A graduate of MetalWorks Institute’s Audio Production & Engineering program, Kyle combines a love for music with a deep interest in technology and the mechanics of sound. For the past decade, he’s played guitar in the metal band Divine Curse, recording and releasing music while performing across the GTA. Whether it’s metal, pop punk, or singer-songwriter sessions, Kyle is always exploring new styles and approaches. His work on Paradis, a self-produced single with Divine Curse, highlights his dedication to the Guelph music community and to building great music from the ground up.
