Some shots from last season that feel more artistic, and less action focused.

As a photographer that carries passion in shooting sports, it can be hard to not feel like every game produces the same type of photos. Finding unique angles and ways to capture different emotions can be challenging but I often find they prove to be the most rewarding.

In the 2024/25 season, I captured over 1000 photos for them. Photos that are posted on my page are just a glimpse of the amount I actually take on a game by game basis.

Excited to continue shooting for the Heat next season, as well as other opportunities that have arisen!

Oh, and up the Villa.

Another year of shooting for and ! This year marked my 3rd year and every year it becomes more and more enjoyable.

This year, UBCO and Kelowna had the honour of hosting the National XC Championships which was awesome to capture!

I also spent time in Calgary capturing playoff run!

With this upcoming weekend being the last home games for our UBCO basketball teams, I wanted to reflect on some photos I took this season!

Both basketball teams ( & ) will look to defeat the UVIC vikes and end the season on a high.

On Friday the men’s team will take the court at 5pm, with the women’s team tipping off at 7pm.

And on Saturday, the men’s team will play at 4pm, and the women’s at 6pm.

Already looking forward to next years action in the furnace!

2024 - a year of growth and reflection for myself and as a professional. 2024 contained many ups and downs but ultimately, this year created many opportunities for myself and my business as well as opened doors for the future.

I am constantly grateful for and .howie13 for trusting me to represent UBCO sports. Working with them has allowed me to experience sports photography and realize my love for it. From shooting my first professional soccer game (little me would be so happy - UTV) to shooting a national XC championship, I am so lucky for the year I have had within sports.

I have big plans for 2025 and will make it a year where I further progress and create more opportunities to show the world my passion for photography.

Arguably one of my favourite and best photos I have ever taken.

is seen crossing the finish line after running 8km in 26:30. Not only does this time SHATTER the course record but she brings home the first ever medal in history.

Photos from the women’s race at cross country national championships.

makes HISTORY for as she wins the first ever gold medal in Heat history. With the ultimately taking it all for the best overall team, this race was intense for the very beginning.
