Note: the Liberals revoked that First Nations Financial Transparency Act shortly after PM Trudeau took power. The FNFT Act created accountability on behalf of band members to see how their money was spent. Each band had to prepare and publish audited, consolidated financial statements which included a Schedule of Remuneration and Expenses for the chief and every councillor.
