March 17, 2025, PM Carney stated an industrial carbon price is required for trade with the EU & UK.
Wasn't accurate - only 6 EU members have an industrial carbon tax while 21 do not including Germany, Italy, Spain and Austria.
Today - EU is exempting heavy industry from a carbon tax while Canada doubles down.

With consumer carbon tax gone, Liberals still pursuing industrial carbon taxes.
