Finally a little musky content for all of you. The season so far has been wild with nearly fifty fish landed in the first month of the season. On this day I start solo fishing shallow and encounter some big bites during small feeding windows. Shallow weeds and fast moving baits can result in explosive fishing with some of the biggest muskies the Ottawa River has to offer. Enjoy and don't forget with water temps getting dangerously high don't fish muskies when water is creeping up to 80. The Mad Chasse blades have been putting in work the last week. With this particular blade already having 7 fish in the last week including this fat 48 inch that ate way out on the cast. She dogged me the whole way in and then slipped over the rail perfectly into the net.

A wicked over cast day where top waters shinned but the only blade fish of the day was big fish of the day. Thanks again .chasse for the unbelievable blades.

The fishing has been extraordinary this year. A late start made fish very condensed in certain areas with some insane action in small bite windows.

This week has been no different with 10 fish landed in the last two days and countless missed opportunities. I have an opening for next week from a cancellation right in the best week of July. A unicorn in a sea of water.

Over twenty hours of trolling for this one fish. My first Atlantic salmon/ Wawa/ Ouainaniche

Locals said the bite has been tough but man it was a grind. Some small walleyes, a chunk of a walleye and new personal best for Randy and some missed salmon jigging made for an unbelievable adventure. Video will be dropping in the coming weeks!
