“Sometimes I wonder—do my photos need a therapist, or do I?”
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how I share my work. On one hand, I love the idea of letting my photos speak for themselves—no captions, no explanations, just the raw image. But on the other hand, I kind of want to open the door and let people in on the chaos behind the scenes. The ideas, the emotions, and all the overthinking that go into every frame.
Right now, I’m stuck somewhere in the middle, trying to figure out what feels right. Do I let the work breathe on its own, or do I share the why behind it? Honestly, I’m not sure yet. But I think this back-and-forth is part of the fun (and frustration) of being a creative.
What do you think? Do you like seeing art stand alone, or do you enjoy hearing the story behind it?
