🎬 Behind the Scenes – “Road Trip” for Lumostage Virtual Productions & Sim-Plates 🚗💨

Check out one of my latest BTS videos, filmed right here in Langley at Lumostage Virtual Productions. I spent three days capturing behind-the-scenes footage of Road Trip, a car process short produced for Lumostage and Sim-Plates, and showcased at NAB Show in Las Vegas — one of the world’s leading broadcast and camera conferences.
I was also proud to serve as editor on the finished film.

We shot on an incredible stage featuring a 180-degree continuous LED curve, LED ceiling, and rolling LED wall — all part of the cutting-edge virtual production toolkit offered at Lumostage.

A few months ago, I had the incredible opportunity to shoot in Skagway, Alaska, for Great Scenic Railways and Robert Van Camp. I spent three days chasing Engine 73 through the stunning White Pass and Yukon with my drone, capturing epic landscapes, winding tracks, and rushing rivers. We had full control of the narrow-gauge train for the day, allowing for some truly cinematic shots.

This footage will be part of Great Scenic Railways’ 30th-anniversary update airing on PBS—excited to see it all come together!

Sharing a couple of grabs from our shoot at the new LNG facility for Petronas in Kitimat, BC. I was capturing footage of Daniel for an internal video as part of the Always Ready campaign.
