REPOST FROM : We’re delighted to introduce Robert Crawley, The Earl of Grantham and Cora Crawley, The Countess of Grantham beautifully created by , now blooming as part of our Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey show.

A devoted custodian of Downton Abbey, Lord Grantham is deeply committed to preserving the estate and its legacy. Though sometimes resistant to change, he is guided by a strong sense of duty and love for his family. Throughout the series, Robert grapples with financial
challenges, evolving societal norms, and the complex relationships within his household.

In a reprieve from his usual dark suits and dinner jackets, Robert wears this light summer ensemble to the 1913 Downton Village Flower Show, at which his mother, the Dowager Countess, and Bill Molesley – Mr. Molesley’s father – go head to head for The Grantham Cup. Lord Grantham‘s jacket is made of eucalyptus, over a shirt of bleached aspidistra and pants of rose petal.

Born into a wealthy American family, Cora brings both fortune and warmth to Downton Abbey. As the wife of Lord Grantham, she balances her role as a devoted mother and matriarch with her desire to modernize the estate and support her daughters‘ ambitions. Known for her grace and diplomacy, Cora often acts as a bridge between tradition and change, fostering unity within the family and among the staff.

Cora wore this white and black-embroidered ensemble to the annual Downton Flower Show in 1913. Her wide-brimmed hat and light jacket reflect traditional daytime wear of the era, and the cream colour contrasts to the vibrant red and pink roses that she is there to judge. Black detailing of amaranthus overlays a cream coat of preserved rose petals, corn husk and palm fibre, with skeleton leaves and hydrangea forming a ruffled lace collar.

We are delighted to announce Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey, a beautiful, flower-full partnership with Focus Features and Carnival Films. This series of immersive fresh floral shows in iconic locations will be inspired by the beloved drama, in anticipation of the highly awaited third Downton Abbey film, exclusively in theatres from September 12, 2025.
Spanning ten cities across three countries, Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey will be a global celebration of the famed period drama that follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their loyal servants in early 20th-century England, told in a way that Fleurs de Villes is famous for—our signature fresh floral mannequins and exquisite floral storytelling.

Each one-of-a-kind show will invite visitors to immerse themselves in the refined elegance and captivating drama of Downton Abbey, brought to life through spectacular floral artistry, by top local artists in each city we pop up in.

Fleurs de Villes Downton Abbey premieres on February 28 at and in the village of , and will then appear in Atlanta , Southern California , New York City , Chicago , Vancouver presented by , Southern Ontario , exclusively in England , and in Boston .  Additional cities and locations to be named soon.

Glorious fall day here in Vancouver. I am stealing a few hours to enjoy the garden. I bought tons of these gorgeous limelight echinacea from and we have enjoyed them so much. Do I deadhead them before winter or let the blooms stay on the stem? Anybody know?
