The siding has started!🥳
The crew from have braved the cold this week and siding is underway …we think they still have fingers?🥶
We are using a mix of lap siding and board and batten from LP Smartside. It’s an engineered wood siding from and provides greater durability than traditional wood siding.
The salvaged floorboards are coming back into the farmhouse this week!
Back in June during demo we salvaged as many of the old floorboards from the original farmhouse that we could and now we are finally repurposing some of them as beams to cover the new structural lumber on the ceiling.
It feels good to be putting a little bit of history back in the farmhouse!❤️
