Here at Concept Productions, we provide a professional and comfortable atmosphere that allows clients to feel at ease and inspired. Working along side our fully accredited and conscientious engineer, you will be able to achieve the professional sound quality your recordings deserve, with reasonable pricing, able to fit any budget. In studio, clients have a large selection of instruments, drum machines, and synthesizers (hardware and software) at their disposal, and if necessary, various types of session musicians can be made available to play them for a nominal fee. As well, we also offer a full kitchen, a comfortable lounge with full internet and wi-fi access, a 50" LCD television for viewing, and free above ground visitor parking. The Concept Productions control room is a large scale, well balanced, acoustically sound, stereo mixing environment. This is achieved by using a variety of Auralex and other types of acoustic treatments/installations, and bass traps in and around the control room, in conjunction with world renowned Mackie HR824 high resolution near-field studio monitors. The recording spaces include a 150sq/ft, high ceilinged live room, and a 24sq/ft, 'dry' isolation booth (mainly used for vocal recording). Both of which employ a wide variety of Auralex, and other, acoustic treatments/installations throughout the facility to prevent any auditory anomalies or unwanted artifacts, as well as directly addressing any acoustic issues that may exist in each individual space. As well as utilizing industry standard Avid Pro Tools software and hardware, a host of world class outboard equipment and microphones, including pieces by Manley, Neumann, Lexicon, AKG, Digidesign, Mackie, Sennheisser, TL Audio, Shure, BBE, Røde, Aphex, Radial, Furman, etc., along with numerous high-end plugins, by renowned software developers, such as Waves, Focusrite, SSL, Sony Oxford, Lexicon, Melodyne, Slate Digital, Bomb Factory, URS, Antares, McDSP, Elysia, BBE, Nomad Factory, IK Multimedia, SPL, SofTube, Digidesign, AudioEase, Roger Nichols, PSP Audio, Brainworks, Sound Toys, Abbey Road, etc., are available for our clients. This variety provides a wide palette of tones and colourations to be captured and applied to our clients cherished projects -- all of which allows the sound of the finished product to have all the warmth, depth, and fullness, highly sought after and desired in today's modern, digitally dominant, recording world.
