Email has no school.

No degree.
No standardized curriculum.
No safe place to learn by doing.

Most email professionals build their careers inside a single ESP — not by choice, but by circumstance. And that quietly limits résumés, confidence, and hiring on both sides.

That’s why I wrote this post:

👉 My Mission: Let Email Builders Touch the Tools
https://www.emailboutique.io/blog/my-mission-let-email-builders-touch-the-tools

It’s about why sandbox access, partner programs, and real experimentation environments aren’t “nice to have” — they’re essential if we want better email, stronger teams, and a healthier industry.

I’m also collecting stories from email professionals as part of the Email Freelancer Pathways Project to show just how non-linear and challenging these careers really are — and to build real pressure for platforms to open their doors to builders.

If you work in email (in any capacity), I’d love for you to add your voice:
👉 Please read the Blog post.

Your story could inspire someone just starting out, reassure someone who feels stuck, or highlight possibilities others haven’t even considered yet.
Let’s stop treating email like something you just “pick up along the way” — and start building real access to the tools we’re expected to master.

Email is one of the most powerful, complex, and misunderstood channels in digital marketing — and yet, it has no formal education path.

For years, I’ve been helping brands create modular email design systems that make production more efficient, scalable, and visually consistent. But behind every “beautifully crafted email” lies a story — one of preparation, collaboration, and thoughtful design.

✨ A true passion project of mine: PadelPlus Chemnitz! ✨
Padel is not only a sport I personally love – with PadelPlus, a very special place for the community is being created in my hometown of Chemnitz.

After six months of co-living and co-working in Germany and Spain, I’m back in Vancouver—and adjusting to my home office again has been harder than expected.

To switch things up, I’ve been spending time at Suite Genius, and what a difference it makes. Sometimes it’s not just about the desk and Wi-Fi, but about the energy in the room: being surrounded by other self-driven people, the quiet buzz of focus, and of course, the stunning view of the coastal mountains.

At home, I find myself distracted—plants that look thirsty, a growing list of household tasks, and the comforts of my living room. Strangely enough, it almost feels easier to keep the momentum going in co-living spaces abroad than in my own home office.

Maybe it’s the people. Maybe it’s the energy. Or maybe it’s simply the joy of working in a space designed for connection. Whatever it is, I’ll keep exploring—and I’ll keep you posted.

Shoutout to the Vancouver coworking community at Suite Genius for making it easier to transition back! 💻🌍✨

August Blog Post:

Too often, ESPs force us to choose:
✨ Fast, marketer-friendly drag-and-drop — or
✨ Custom-coded templates that truly stay on brand.

But why should we have to settle for either/or when our teams need both?
In my latest article, I share what a true hybrid approach looks like, which ESPs do it well, and how third-party tools can bridge the gap.

💡 If we’ve ever struggled with balancing brand consistency, accessibility, and speed to market — this is for us.

When it comes to email marketing, two things matter above all: brand consistency and speed to market. Every campaign needs to reflect your brand’s identity, while at the same time enabling marketing teams to roll out campaigns quickly and efficiently.

July Blog Post:

✨ Not every project is the right fit—and that’s okay.

As freelancers or solopreneurs, we often feel pressure to say yes to every opportunity—especially when it comes through a trusted referral. But part of building a sustainable, values-driven business is learning when (and how) to politely say no.

In my latest blog post, I share a few things I’ve learned to look for when evaluating new client inquiries:
✔️ Whether the collaboration setup allows for strategic involvement
✔️ If expectations align with the kind of work I deliver
✔️ How to spot when someone is still defining their needs—and how that affects your role

This isn’t about judgment—just discernment. And sometimes, protecting your time and focus is the most professional thing you can do.

If you’re navigating similar decisions, you’re not alone.
I wrote this post to share what I’ve learned and to open up the conversation for others working solo.

👉 Read the article here:

As freelancers or anyone working solo, we often feel we have to say yes to every opportunity—especially when it comes through a trusted referral. But not every project is the right match, and learning to say no (kindly and clearly) is a skill that protects not only your time, but your value, reput...

✨ New on the Blog: How Business Coaching Transformed My Business

Running a one-woman business isn’t just about wearing all the hats—it’s about learning how to wear them well without burning out.

Over the past year, I’ve worked with business coach Jordan Tait at The Intentional Business, and it’s changed how I operate, how I grow, and how I show up as a founder.

From setting up automation with tools like Read.ai and Asana, to refining my project delivery and learning to reflect on every phase—I’ve been slowly turning chaos into clarity. Not perfectly. But intentionally.

This isn’t a “how to fix your business overnight” story. It’s about process, systems, and the quiet determination that keeps solo-founders going—especially when things feel messy.

📝 I wrote about the journey here:

If you’re a freelancer, solopreneur, or creative juggling it all—this one’s for you. 💛
Let me know what resonated.

Running a naturally growing business as a one-woman-show comes with more ups and downs than most people imagine. When you’re the CEO, creative lead, strategist, and bookkeeper all at once, it’s easy to fall into a cycle of reactive work.
