Email has no school.
No degree.
No standardized curriculum.
No safe place to learn by doing.
Most email professionals build their careers inside a single ESP — not by choice, but by circumstance. And that quietly limits résumés, confidence, and hiring on both sides.
That’s why I wrote this post:
👉 My Mission: Let Email Builders Touch the Tools
https://www.emailboutique.io/blog/my-mission-let-email-builders-touch-the-tools
It’s about why sandbox access, partner programs, and real experimentation environments aren’t “nice to have” — they’re essential if we want better email, stronger teams, and a healthier industry.
I’m also collecting stories from email professionals as part of the Email Freelancer Pathways Project to show just how non-linear and challenging these careers really are — and to build real pressure for platforms to open their doors to builders.
If you work in email (in any capacity), I’d love for you to add your voice:
👉 Please read the Blog post.
Your story could inspire someone just starting out, reassure someone who feels stuck, or highlight possibilities others haven’t even considered yet.
Let’s stop treating email like something you just “pick up along the way” — and start building real access to the tools we’re expected to master.
Email is one of the most powerful, complex, and misunderstood channels in digital marketing — and yet, it has no formal education path.
