Welcome new supporters of The Kingston Free Press! Thank you for the boost in likes this past week- it has been incredibly exciting to see our numbers grow so quickly!

With all of this increased interest, we are currently formulating new ways to make the submission process for potential writers a little simpler. Thank you for reaching out, we will respond to any outstanding messages soon!

June Edition

The June issue is approaching completion, but one thing I would like to outsource is a piece commenting upon Gord Downie's cancer diagnosis, the Hip's upcoming final tour, and the massive scalping of tickets. There's been a great deal of outcry online, but it seems there's more than enough material for a print piece. I shall write it myself if necessary, but it would be great to have another voice if someone is capable of writing something at the last minute. Please share as needed!

The deepest of apologies to our readership, Issue No 3 is running a bit behind due to a reporter's computer failure and the coinciding of our deadline with moving day. Rest assured it'll be available both digitally and in print quite soon.

For a small preview, the KFP will be reporting on the developing scandal in our May 1st edition! So far this scandal has toppled the Prime Minister of Iceland, is affecting the Prime Minister of the U.K., and is implicating numerous other members of the global elite as details of tax evasion and offshoring have come to light. What isn't being asked, however, is where the funding for the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists is coming from, who is benefiting from this scandal, and who has been left out of the coverage. More on this as the story develops!
