⚔️⛵ SAILING WITH THE VIKINGS

More than a thousand years ago, Viking longships sailed the cold waters of Northern Europe in search of new lands, trade and adventure.

Many centuries later, we found ourselves sailing through these same northern waters—this time aboard the Vision of the Seas. 😊

Our journey brought us to Oslo, Norway, the fascinating sculptures of Vigeland Park, and beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark. But for this Lakbay Mundo adventure, we wanted to do something different.

Instead of simply showing the places we visited, we went back in time to discover the world of the Vikings—not only as warriors, but also as explorers, craftsmen, farmers and merchants.

We combined our actual travel photographs and experiences with historical storytelling and recreated scenes to bring the Viking age to life.

So come sail with us...

🏛️ ATHENS: BEYOND THE ODYSSEY 🇬🇷

With The Odyssey capturing attention once again, it reminded us of the day we walked through Athens—where the legends, gods, heroes and stories of Ancient Greece suddenly felt very real.

We all know the name Odysseus, the legendary hero whose long journey home became one of the greatest stories ever told. But behind the mythology is an ancient Greek world that still surrounds you when you visit Athens.

Standing before the magnificent Parthenon, walking around the Acropolis and seeing places that have witnessed thousands of years of history, we realized that Athens is much more than another destination.

It is a journey back in time.

THE HARDEST GOOD BYE | RECAP - SEASON 2

Sometimes... life changes so quickly that you hardly recognize yourself anymore.

My marriage ended...
and overnight, I found myself abandoned, undocumented, and completely alone.

Every morning, I woke before sunrise to work at a turkey farm.

The work was hard...
but giving up was never an option.

Then God sent me someone I didn't expect...
a kind friend named Pilita.

She reminded me that even strangers can become family.

Just when life seemed to be getting a little easier...
Bunso Rey called from the Philippines.

Lola was in the hospital.

My heart wanted to fly home immediately.

But before I could even decide...
another message arrived.

Lola had passed away.

I cried because I couldn't hold her hand one last time...
or stand beside my family during her funeral.

I opened my laptop and looked at flights to Manila.

Then I looked at the hospital bills...
the funeral expenses...
and Bunso Rey's tuition.

I realized something that broke my heart.

The money I would spend on a plane ticket...
could help my family far more than my presence ever could.

So I made the hardest decision of my life.

I stayed.

I sent every dollar I could...
including the money I had saved for my journey home.

I couldn't say goodbye beside Lola's bed...

But sometimes the greatest act of love isn't being there...

It's sacrificing your own goodbye... so the people you love can keep going

Diary of Imee Grant - Episode 20

For days, I couldn't stop thinking about Lola.

My heart wanted to fly home...
but my mind knew the truth.

If I left America...
I might never be allowed to return.

There were hospital bills.

Funeral expenses.

Bunso Rey still needed tuition.

Every dollar I had could help my family more than a plane ticket ever could.

That's when I realized something.

Going home would comfort me...
but staying could help my family survive.

So I made the hardest decision of my life.

I stayed.

Not because I didn't love my family...
but because I loved them enough to sacrifice being with them.

Sometimes love isn't measured by the miles we travel...

but by the sacrifices we're willing to make for the people we love."

I COULDN'T EVEN SAY GOODBYE - Diary of Imee Grant #19

Some days change your life with just one message.

That morning, during our coffee break, my phone buzzed.

It was Bunso Rey.

'Ate... Lola passed away this morning.'

For a moment... everything around me disappeared.

Lola wasn't just my grandmother. She helped raise me when Mama had to work. She was my comfort, my strength... my home.

My heart wanted to fly home immediately.

But my mind knew the truth.

If I left America, I might never be able to return.

Pilita held me while I cried. She didn't try to find the right words. She simply stayed beside me.

That night, I held my rosary, whispered my prayers, and said goodbye to Lola from thousands of miles away.

Sometimes the hardest goodbyes are the ones we can never make in person

Dear Diary...

Today, life felt a little lighter.

My friend Pilita surprised me with an invitation I never expected... a long weekend road trip to New York to watch Miss Saigon on Broadway.

For most people, it was just a weekend getaway. But for me, it was something much bigger. It was the first time in a long while that I stopped living in fear.... it was a chance to breathe again.

As we drove, laughed, and shared new experiences together, I realized something important...

Sometimes, healing doesn't begin with a miracle. It begins with one good friend... one small adventure... and one brave step toward a normal life.

Maybe... just maybe... this is only the beginning

Dear Diary...

Today, I found my first job.

A small restaurant hired me to wash dishes and clean after closing.

Back home, I was a teacher.

Now, I spent my days scrubbing pots and greasy pans.

The work was hard.

But every dollar helped me survive.

Then I started hearing stories about immigration raids nearby.

Fear followed me every day.

After a month, I left the job.

Once again...

I found myself searching for a way forward.

Dear Diary...

Today, I discovered something devastating.

My marriage was never legally registered.

I lost my husband.

I lost my savings.

And now, I learned I was never really Mrs. Grant.

No money.

No papers.

No legal status.

But I still needed to survive.

Tomorrow, I will look for work.

Any honest work.

Because if life has taught me anything...

it is that I may be down,

but I am not defeated.

Dear Diary…

After meeting James at the airport,
we drove east for two long days.

Everything felt strange…
quiet roads, endless fields, tiny towns.

Far away from everything I knew.

Then one afternoon…
we finally arrived.

A small town in Pennsylvania.

That same week,
we were married by a man
who introduced himself as a pastor.

And just like that…
