From “the Four Horsemen Project” with Toronto’s Volcano Theatre and Crooked Figure Dance, a dance/music/poetry piece with projected kinetic type from the avant garde concrete poetry movement of the 1970s. Here, from “Drum and a Wheel,” dancer Naoko Murakoshi swirls around, appearing to make the wheels of typography move with her. The show won the Best New Play Dora award.
