About Yanbo Wang aka Lawrence:
This individual, known as Yanbo Wang or Lawrence, is a dangerous con artist and predator who has successfully deceived and exploited those around him for years.
While in Canada, Lawrence initially gained the trust of friends, family, and colleagues by presenting himself as a well-mannered, charismatic individual. His charm led him to secure a job with a friend’s startup company, where he was entrusted with access to sensitive financial and accounting information. However, in the spring of 2024, Lawrence began his deceptive schemes, creating fake invoices, fake clients, and fabricated stories to defraud the company. This continued into the summer of 2024, when he turned on his closest friends and family, manipulating them into giving him money through false pity stories.
In addition to his financial deceit, disturbing evidence was uncovered during a search of his home: his mobile device contained hundreds of videos where he had secretly stalked and recorded women in public spaces, capturing sensitive body parts without their consent.
As his actions caught up with him, Lawrence fled Canada on November 13, 2024, once he realized his web of lies was collapsing. He is now believed to be hiding in Asia, continuing to evade justice.
