This afternoon we played a Tombstone while the ALS Golfathon was played.. it was a hot day as we teed off at 120.. we all had fun and I made it as far as my 2nd shot over the pond on #18:) We also had a Lefty's vs Righty's ..the proshop handed out Canada Day logo balls and tees.

That's a wrap!! Another great Ladies Open ..the 50th!! 36 ladies out for the Friday Tombstone and 90 ladies for the Saturday tournament .The masquerade gold and black theme was a hit .. The Glitter Girls died on the 7th green hole..Saturday we came in 11th out of 45 teams ..Woohoo!! And it is possible to play golf in fishnet nylons 😊 What a great 2 days 🏌️❤️

Thursday's 852 tee time just got a bit brighter thanks to our new group uniform from Kandy Golf .. even got the boys to wear pink shorts!!
A lovely 2 shows from the snowbirds as well as an ear rattling show from the f18s.
The girls beat the boys, but I lost the beer hole.

Smith and Delaney played our 5th Mixed Open Tournament at the beautiful Storey Creek Golf Course..Night day weather from Saturdays pouring rain, thunderstorm warnings and 59 ibs of wet clothes to Sundays sunny but still a bit chilly weather . At least we got to wear our matching Canada Eh! Shirts from Kandy Golf and had lots of compliments!!🥰 Both days we played with really nice and fun couples. Last pic is from 6 yrs ago, our 1st mixed event.

A beautiful day on the Island for some golf..A typical spring day of on and off, layer up and down, sometimes a couple times a hole. Tis the season of putting those layers on in the right order!!
When you haven't played in a while you can't expect to remember how to putt🤣🤣it was a lovely day with some lovely ladies 🥰

Playa Rogelio is so beautiful and worth the 45 minute drive east..miles of beach to walk and swim.
The Belgium bakery in Cabarete is a perfect place to have a latte and some treats or breakfast.
Del Oro is the chocolate factory in Puerto Plata, free entry and a little tour that started with a couple samples..yummy!! Puerto Plata centre is an easy walk to see the Umbrella alley and the Pink alley, plus all the little shops.
BigLees BeachBar on the Malecon is a must for a bite!! Best fish and chips❤️

Enjoying the first few days in Cabarete at the condo.. Taco Tuesday at Martinis Beach Bar and Grill ..Wing Wednesday and Goddess Beach Club.. brunch at Dick's Panderia and all the beach walks we can do!!

We lucked out today with our golf time.. The first hole was very windy .then omg it heated up until we finished..The mountains peeked out to show off their snow caps!! Please be like this at 11 am Saturday for the tournament 🙏😊

It was a balmy, still, dry day of golf for the Smith & Delaney team.. Our first round of 18 holes of 2025.. too warm for the vest and winter boots..the eagles were flying around..some flowers were out...and the swear jar was half full!! Felt like we had the course to ourselves 😊🇨🇦
