A Prayer for GenSan and Mindanao

​Heavenly Father, Almighty God,

​We come to You with heavy hearts, lifting up the people of General Santos City and the entire Mindanao region after the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake. In this moment of fear, chaos, and destruction, we ask for Your immediate presence to comfort and protect them.

​We pray for protection:
Wrap Your arms around those who are frightened, displaced, or seeking higher ground. Calm the seas, halt the aftershocks, and shield every family from further danger.
​We pray for the victims and survivors:
Comfort those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, and grant swift healing to the injured. For anyone who may be trapped under rubble or separated from their families, we ask for Your divine rescue and a blanket of peace to guard their hearts.
​We pray for the first responders:

Grant supernatural strength, wisdom, and courage to the local authorities, the Philippine Red Cross, rescue teams, and volunteers. Guide their hands as they navigate the debris, restore power, and bring aid to those in desperate need.

​Lord, the Filipino spirit is resilient, but right now, they need Your strength. Bring unity, hope, and swift relief to GenSan. Let them feel that they are not alone or forgotten.
​In Your holy and powerful name, we pray.
​Amen.
