🦇✨ Happy Bat Appreciation Week! ✨🦇

Here at Sterando Acres, we love our bats! These incredible creatures play a vital role in our ecosystem — from controlling mosquito populations to helping pollinate plants and spread seeds. 🌿💫

We’ve even installed bat houses around the property to provide safe, cozy roosts for them to raise their young and rest during the day. Supporting bats means supporting a healthy, balanced environment — something we’re passionate about here at Sterando Acres.

So this week, let’s celebrate our night-flying friends who make our evenings a little quieter and our forests a little healthier. 🌙💚

Found this coop at the dump. Needed a little love and insulation. Hope the chickens will enjoy a new home for the winter.

Fire cider is so good!
I'll admit that I'm lazy in mine and I never strain it and add the honey 😅
I just add several tablespoons to my mug, and then add my honey concoction to it as well to balance out the tangy.
Top with hot water.

19 eggs collected today, at least 2 broken ones. Who knows how many more have been pilfered by wildlife.
