A year ago, AbroadSchool™ planted a seed. 🌱

I was part of another homeschool group here in Da Nang — and I’m grateful for it. But I kept feeling like something was missing.

Structure. Consistency. Real relationships that last longer than a season.

I wanted my kids to have stability. Not a classroom — but an academy. A place where the standards are high, the community is close-knit, and the kids actually know each other. Feel safe with each other. Grow up alongside each other.

So I built it.

AbroadSchool™ gave me the foundation — the belief that families abroad deserve intentional community, not just a group chat. And from that foundation, DNHS Community Da Nang Homeschool Community was born.

One year in — my girls have made the most beautiful friendships. Watching them learn, grow, and belong here has been one of the greatest gifts of this whole journey. I am so deeply grateful. 🤍

Here’s what we’ve built together this past year:

Photo 2: Bed, 2pm, what glow?? 💀

They said second trimester was the good part.
They were not lying.
They were also not telling the whole truth.

Da Nang heat + pregnant + two kids + building a business abroad =
Some days I’m that girl.
Some days I am NOT that girl and that’s okay.

Both versions of me are showing up.
Both versions are valid.
Both versions are going back to bed at 8pm. 😂
